I'm a builder. Most of what I make exists
because something in my life needed solving; audio tooling
for my production pipeline, machine learning where it actually earns its
keep, scripts and systems for a life run on Arch. Everything here was made
for me, the only bar it ever had to clear was if it worked.
The writeups are just that; what I made, why I made it, the reasoning,
the decisions along the way. It's all stuff that exists
and runs, and the code is there if you want a look.
The musings are a little more abstract. Just things I've noticed, only
the idea itself being built.
I put together a local agent CLI to see how far a small, open model could go with the right harness.
The world's best AI was never told there's no such thing as a dumb question.
I rebuilt a 500-line educational Wayland compositor into my daily driver.
I built a local AI system that has a life outside of my interactions with it.
I trained a CNN to find breath sounds in audio, because editing them out by hand was the beginning of the frustration.
