Under a dead tree
July 7, 2026

For most of my life I deleted everything. Old files, projects, messages; it all eventually got wiped. I liked clean and empty. Anything left sitting around was a reminder of the past, and deleting it felt like forgetting.
At some point, things started sticking around. Not everything, but enough for me to notice. They still suffered the same fate though, only slower; now collecting dust on a hard drive. Deletion without the commitment.
This site is where that changes. I build things for myself, and now they get written up and put here.
My first real writeup: a CNN I trained to find breath sounds in audio, because editing them out by hand was the beginning of the frustration.
